Welcome back everyone! I hope you had a great summer, whether you were dancing, pursuing other activities, or just vacationing. I look forward to hearing about it from each of you.
As for me, I had a rich teaching experience abroad. I was in Madrid for three weeks where I taught class and staged excerpts from The Four Temperaments at the Conservatorio de Danza Maria de Avila. My dancers were from The Ailey School, Juilliard, Purchase, North Carolina School of the Arts, as well as the Conservatorio itself and other schools in Spain, Italy, and Portugal. I also enjoyed observing the classes of the other faculty members. From Spain I went on to the New Zealand School of Dance, where I staged excerpts from Emeralds. While I was there, I was interviewed on the radio. You can listen by pasting this link into your browser. http://www.radionz.co.nz/concert/programmes/upbeat/audio/2494902/diana-white
